🎵 Decibels: Mono is one bright, textural rainbow with plenty to say.

This version of Decibels takes the wonderfully unusual palette of Carolyn Friedlander's Memento collection and lets it stretch out against a soft Coconut Milk background.

Cobalt, olive, lavender, orange, neon, and neutrals are joined by coordinating Speckled fabrics to create an even fuller rainbow of color. The result is graphic and playful, but the creamy background gives all that color room to breathe.

Memento is one of those collections where the more closely you look, the more interesting it gets.

The colors aren't arranged into an obvious rainbow, but you can turn anything rainbow if you try! The soft cream gives every color a little breathing room and lets the texture and detail of the Memento prints show up beautifully.

And at this size, this is a substantial quilt with plenty of room for all that color to play.
