Opal Scrappy Trip Quilt
The Opal quilt is a true gem!
Opal is the birthstone for October, but this quilt will work for you regardless of birth month!
The Opal quilt is filled with quirky, modern prints primarily from a fabric collection by Kim Kight called Homebody.
- Deep navy, cerulean, turquoise, and lightest aqua; peach, pink, white, caramel brown, even a little striation of chartreuse, for that opalescent color spectrum.
- This is a traditional scrap quilt using a technique called Trip Around the World.
- Backed with a soft peach cotton sateen
- Bamboo blend batting
- Quilted in a straight line grid with a coordinating peach thread
Approximately 72” square, perfect size for a twin, a double bed, or a coverlet for a queen bed. Also makes a generous lap quilt or throw for snuggling on the couch.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
This quilt is already made, prewashed, and ready to ship.
