Sociology Major Quilt

Soft and Serene, with a touch of frost, like a sunrise in October.

The Sociology Major quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in fun prints with a retro vibe, some pop art style faces, a jostling crowd, brownstone buildings, lucky horseshoes, and shooting stars to name a few. The frosty sunrise array of fabrics flow in a modern Bargello wave, based on a pattern by Penelope Handmade called Ebb & Flow.

Backed with a dreamy and silky dove gray flannel (for chilly October evenings), and bound with a mauve and ivory watercolor striped fabric, it is quilted with bamboo blend batting in horizontal straight lines in a coordinating variety of thread colors from pewter gray to violet to coral to peach to ivory.

Approximately, 71” x 82”, perfect generous size for a twin bed, or for the full experience, take it to the common room while you study for your Art History final.

Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
