Midsummer Quilt
Hot July vibes in modern patchwork.
The Midsummer quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in fun quirky prints from the designers of Ruby Star Society, pieced into a pattern called House Party, by Modernly Morgan.
The blocks are an homage to a stereo play button, and the fabrics are in hot summer night hues; black, plum, caramel, bright warm red, soft hot pink, and pale peachy pink. The fabric prints feature pop art soft serve cones, big exotic flowers, metallic gold leaves, and wood carved butterflies, all on a background of bold stars.
Backed with a soft woven fabric with a peachy beige buffalo plaid, with a bamboo blend batting, and quilted in a soft white cotton thread in a straight line grid.
Approximately 53” x 59", perfect size for a toddler or camper bed or for the full experience, take it to the lake for a sunset picnic in July. Also a great size for a lap quilt or fun sofa throw.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
This quilt is already made, prewashed, and ready to ship. Add to Cart, proceed to checkout, and you could receive it in less than a week!
Once you have received your quilt (or you have given it as a gift), please feel free to send me a photo of it in its new home. I absolutely love seeing them being loved and displayed in their natural habitats!
