Star Crossed Quilt
Modern and Timeless. “But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the Star-Crossed Quilt, and Juliet is so cozy.” (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself)
This quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in timeless prints from the Vessel and Starry fabric collections by Alexia Abegg. The quilt is made from a pattern by Patchwork and Poodles called the Mod Crossing, a cool mod update on an absolutely classic Irish Chain quilt.
In shades of soft denim blue, black, white, lilac, navy, caramel, pistachio green, and fiery tomato red, this quilt pops in a way that is both timeless and modern.
Layered with bamboo blend batting, and backed with a luxurious plaid flannel, the Star-Crossed quilt is quilted with a coordinating tomato red cotton thread in my favorite meandering geometric pattern, like a road map.
Approximately 70" square, perfect size for a twin or camper bed. Also a great size for a lap quilt or fun sofa throw.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
This quilt is already made, prewashed, and ready to ship. Add to Cart, proceed to checkout, and you could receive it in less than a week!
Once you have received your quilt (or you have given it as a gift), please feel free to send me a photo of it in its new home. I absolutely love seeing them being loved and displayed in their natural habitats!
