Back Bay Brownstone quilt

In a brownstone, in a ranch style, in a converted loft, the Back Bay Brownstone would look right at home in any of them. In fact, it looks right at home ANYWHERE.

This quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in a tonal mid mod color palette, with retro-inspired prints, primarily from designed Kim Kight, of the Ruby Star Society; chubby strawberries, little bows, funky florals, tiny raccoons, and more.

In shades of denim blue, London double decker red, navy, grey-beige, and plum, this quilt pops in a way that is both elegant and bold. A gorgeous one-of-a-kind quilt that will stand the test of time. That is what makes it heirloom quality.

Layered with bamboo blend batting, and backed with a navy strawberry print, this quilt is quilted with a putty-colored thread in a loopy, mod 60’s butterfly panto by longarm quilter Christina from Piece of Home Quilts.

Approximately 67" x 74”, perfect size for a twin bed, or coverlet, or for the full experience, in your college dorm in Boston. Also a great size for a lap quilt or fancy sofa throw.

Pieced and bound by me on my sewing machine; professionally quilted as described above. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
