This version of Cinder pairs the cement architecture of Meghan's pattern with Carolyn Friedlander's richly textured Memento collection. Cobalt, olive, lavender, orange, red-orange, neon, and neutrals come together against a cool Speckled Metallic Dove background, giving the quilt a look that's concrete, color, and controlled chaos.

Carolyn Friedlander's fabrics are full of subtle marks, layers, and unexpected color combinations. Against the cool gray of Speckled Metallic Dove, those colors feel sharper and more architectural. The metallic background adds just a hint of shimmer, while Tracks in Royal Blue gives the finished quilt a strong, graphic edge.
