Milky Way Quilt

A galaxy of style.

The Milky Way quilt is made from an eclectic and vast variety of super soft designer cottons in black and navy with stars of pale peach, neon chartreuse, soft denim blue, and sea foam green, pieced into a pattern called Homespun, by Modernly Morgan.

Like a giant Where’s Waldo, you’ll never fully see all that there is to see in the prints of this quilt. Fully of metallic touches, and varying shades of each color, it sparkles like a gem.

Backed with a black celestial sateen, with a bamboo blend batting, and quilted in a series of arches in deep navy thread, this quilt is large but lightweight. Quilted by professional longarmer Christina of Piece of Home quilts.

Approximately 76" square, perfect size for a double/full bed, or a coverlet for a queen size bed. Also a great generous size for a lap quilt to snuggle under the stars.

Pieced and bound by me on my sewing machine. Professionally quilted as described above. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
