Moving Mission Accomplished
Whew! Thank you so much to all of you who bought quilts during the Moving Sale, or even after, and to those custom quilt shoppers who have shown so much patience while I packed up my entire sewing world and moved it across the country.
I am now safely ensconced in my new Wake Forest, North Carolina sewing room, and it’s ready to help me be just as productive as I was in San Diego. Maybe more! I have a sweet balcony where I can take sewing breaks to gaze wistfully around the treetops (so many trees!). There are many more rainstorms than I am used to, and I absolutely love sewing in a rainstorm. Who doesn’t?
I have several new quilts to post up in the shop, which I will be doing over the next week, but not a lot of scenic outdoor on-location photos of them yet. Exploring where I live and finding good spots to take quilt pictures is one of my favorite parts of my process, so hopefully I will head out and explore my new town soon. Wake Forest, Raleigh, Durham, and just the entire Triangle area are my oyster now.
