✱A micro origin story
I left this pattern completely up to chance.
Every design decision made by:
🎲
The Dice
Rolled. Repeatedly.
🎱
The 8-Ball
Outlook: colorful.
🪙
The Arcade Token
Heads or tails.
🔢
The R.N.G.
Very official.
Really! In an effort to make a quilt without overthinking, I rolled the dice, flipped a coin (an arcade token, actually), consulted a Magic 8 Ball, and used a random number generator.
Every time I needed to make a decision, I let fate decide instead — and the original Bonnie Twist quilt sample was born. And I love it.
It helped me turn a fabric bundle I had no idea what to do with into a finished quilt. Just like magic. No auditioning fabrics. No overanalyzing layouts. No stepping back ten times to “see if it works.”
Just pick, sew, repeat. And somehow it all comes together into a huggable artwork that looks intentional and joyful.
