San Diego Heirloom Quilt

This quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in timeless prints from the Heirloom fabric collection by Alexia Abegg; from the subtle plus print, to the scattered birds to the woodblock print patterns of cacti and flowers. Perfect for a funky boho studio apartment, and yet works equally well on a twin size or camper van bed. The quilt is made from a pattern by TheMakingsofJoy called the Mom & Pop.
In shades of bright sky blue, neon yellow, lilac, soft magenta, navy, caramel, guava, and bright tomato red, this quilt pops in a way that is both timeless and modern. A gorgeous one-of-a-kind quilt that will stand the test of time. That is what makes it heirloom quality.
Layered with bamboo blend batting, and backed with a moody blue-gray cotton, this quilt is quilted with a shimmering cinnamon-colored cotton thread in a meandering geometric pattern, like a road map.
Approximately 63" square, perfect size for a small twin or camper bed or for the full experience, pass it around among several generations of family. Also a great size for a lap quilt or fun sofa throw.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
