Hear Me Roar Quilt
Quirky Retro Style in a bright, modern color palette.
The Hear Me Roar quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in radiant prints from the Sunbeam fabric collection by Rashida Coleman-Hale; look closely to see the superstar women, the birds, and the fierce roaring tigers. The quilt pattern is called Double Crossed by Angela Pingel Designs.
In a red hot array of colors from berry red to pastel pink to bright yellow to pewter gray to black to caramel, this is quilted with hot pink thread by longarm quilter Meghan of A Piece of Quiet Quilts. A bright pink binding frames up those classic x-plus blocks. The backing is beautiful speckled black sateen.
Approximately 70" x 94", perfect generous size for a twin bed, extra long for a twin XL dorm room bed. Perfect for Women’s Studies majors and other cool people.
Pieced and bound by me on my sewing machine; professionally longarm quilted as described above. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
This quilt is already made, prewashed, and ready to ship. Add to Cart, proceed to checkout, and you could receive it in less than a week!
Once you have received your quilt (or you have given it as a gift), please feel free to send me a photo of it in its new home. I absolutely love seeing them being loved and displayed in their natural habitats!
