Knit One Knuffel Quilt
Cozy Handmade Retro Style in a bright, modern color palette.
The Knit One Knuffel quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in quirky, whimsical prints, from the Purl fabric collection by Sarah Watts. Look closely and you’ll see balls of yarn, puffy sheep, metallic teapots, and flowering buds of cotton. The quilt pattern is a La Bizarra original called the Knuffel quilt (also available in my shop), and is meant to invoke hugs, just like the whole quilt itself.
In a bright but sophisticated array of colors from bright orange to pale pink to deep teal to black, this is quilted with white thread in curved orange peel quilting to echo the knitted theme throughout. The backing is a beautiful teal yarn ball print.
Approximately 65" square, perfect generous size for a throw quilt or lap quilt, also fits on a camper or bunk bed, or as a cover on a twin bed. For the full experience, throw over the rocking chair next to your knitting basket.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
