Medianoche Quilt
Modern yet Timeless. The Medianoche Quilt looks equally at home among the Art Deco and the Art Nouveau, but then again, it looks right at home ANYWHERE.
This quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in timeless prints from the Alma fabric collection by Alexia Abegg and the Emilia collection from Megan Carter; bold geometric woodblock prints to lacy and luscious florals. Perfect for an eclectic studio apartment, and yet works equally well on a twin size or camper van bed. The quilt is made from a pattern by Then Came June called the Flower Tile.
In shades of deep navy, mustard yellow, copper, plum, cream, putty and bright tomato red, this quilt pops in a way that is both elegant and bold. A gorgeous one-of-a-kind quilt that will stand the test of time. That is what makes it heirloom quality.
Layered with bamboo blend batting, and backed with a black metallic speckled fabric, this quilt is quilted with a shimmering golden-colored thread in a classic wishbone by longarm quilter Chris from Sweet Pea Threads. A gold on black Art Deco binding frames up this sophisticated garden.
Approximately 60" x 73”, perfect size for a small bed, or coverlet, or for the full experience, wrapped around your shoulders in your garden at midnight. Also a great size for a lap quilt or fancy sofa throw.
Pieced and bound by me on my sewing machine; professionally quilted as described above. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
This quilt is already made, prewashed, and ready to ship. Add to Cart, proceed to checkout, and you could receive it in less than a week!
Once you have received your quilt (or you have given it as a gift), please feel free to send me a photo of it in its new home. I absolutely love seeing them being loved and displayed in their natural habitats!
