Substitute Teacher Lap Quilt
The Substitute Teacher quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in fun quirky prints with retro flair, in an organized checkerboard grid, but with the occasional brightly colored substitution; look closely and you'll find roller skates, typewriters, pop bottles, balloon animals, dice, and a lot of stars.
In orchid pink, black and white, filled with a bamboo batting, and backed in a warm hued plaid flannel, the Substitute Teacher quilt is quilted with cotton thread in a grid. A sparkly speckled maroon binding frames up this snuggly quilt.
Approximately 66” square, a generous size for a lap quilt or throw, or for the full experience, get cozy in the library, or pop it out for a quick picnic at recess.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
