Cape Cottage Quilt
Little bit vintage, little bit mod. Cottagecore, but make it sassy.
The Cape Cottage Quilt is made from modern floral and geometric prints inspired by vintage textiles, and woven fabrics and flannels in plaids and stripes. Cottage pastels like pistachio, lavender, and peach are paired with bright red, lemon yellow, and black. Background is a natural cotton linen to give it texture and a comfortable weight. Made from the Cozy Cabin Pattern by ModernlyMorgan.
Backed with a cream and caramel floral sateen, layered with a bamboo blend batting, and professionally quilted all over in an ikat pattern by longarm quilter Christina of Piece of Home Quilts.
Approximately 76" square, perfect size for full/double bed, a generous size for a twin bed, or for the full effect, spread out in your cottage gardens with a baguette and a whole wheel of brie.
Pieced and bound by me on my sewing machine. Professionally quilted on a longarm machine (see above). Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
