MidMod Inferno Quilt
A blazing inferno of style.
The MidMod Inferno quilt is made from sophisticated charcoal Essex linen and super soft designer cottons in ombré rainbow and paint swatch prints from designer Giuseppe Ribaudo, pieced into a pattern called House Party, by Modernly Morgan.
The blocks are an homage to a stereo play button, and the fabrics are reminiscent of house painting and decorating, which calls to mind the hottest housewarming party vibes. The charcoal grey linen fabric on the top and the light woven grey plaid fabric on the backing make this a squishy, crinkly, weighty but not warm quilt, with classic mid-century modern retro style.
Backed with a soft woven fabric with a plaid in shades of grey, with a bamboo blend batting, and quilted in a slate grey thread in a meandering geometric design.
Approximately 60” x 67", perfect size for a twin coverlet or small bed. Also a great generous size for a lap quilt or fun sofa throw.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
This quilt is already made, prewashed, and ready to ship. Add to Cart, proceed to checkout, and you could receive it in less than a week!
Once you have received your quilt (or you have given it as a gift), please feel free to send me a photo of it in its new home. I absolutely love seeing them being loved and displayed in their natural habitats!
