Bubbly Picnic Quilt

This quilt is made from super soft designer cottons in fun quirky prints from the Smol fabric collection by Kim Kight; from the handful of nuts to the sweet chunky apples, to the bandana florals. Perfect for a funky boho studio apartment, and yet works equally well on a camper van bed or a kid’s bunk. The quilt is made from a pattern by Allison Ramsing called the Celebrate Everyday pattern.
In shades of bright sky blue, Granny Smith green, fiery red, soft pale pink, navy, caramel, and denim blue, this quilt pops in a way that is both timeless and modern. A gorgeous one-of-a-kind quilt that will stand the test of time. That is what makes it heirloom quality.
Layered with bamboo blend batting, and backed with a triple stripe of crosshatched print in pink, gray, and blue, this quilt is quilted with an eggshell-colored cotton thread in a meandering geometric pattern, like a road map.
Approximately 55" x 68”, perfect size for a small bunk or camper bed or for the full experience, pack it in a basket for a picnic in the park. Also a great size for a lap quilt or fun sofa throw.
Pieced, quilted, and bound by me on my sewing machine. Prewashed for preshrinking and colorfastness, in an eco-friendly product called Soak. Machine washable and dryable.
